Glen Arnold was raised on a small farm in Georgia, worked at the local cotton gin while going to college and then went on to pursue his lifelong dream of working as a cropduster pilot. He attended flight school in Northwest Kansas and received his Commercial Pilot license and completed Ag Flight school in Hoxie, Kansas. He then returned back to Georgia flying in summers and attending school in the off season studying commodity marketing. After 10 years, Arnold left flying and began working as a Commodity Hedge Consultant & Broker. His specialty has been serving Cotton & Grain Producers and Cattlemen in the Southeast. Arnold is a graduate of Mercer University, The Texas International Cotton School at Texas Tech, The Cotton Institute at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and has studied Futures and Options at the University of Georgia. Since 2000, Arnold has trained over 200 farmer groups on Technical Analysis of Commodity Markets and Using Options (Hedging) for price protection. His work has been featured in farm publications including: Cotton Grower Magazine, Cotton Farming Magazine, Southeast Farm Press, Progressive Farmer, Ag Lender, and the Cotton Gin and Oil Mill Press. He has also written numerous guest articles for many of these magazines on technical analysis and hedging.
